On Friday August 29th, 2008 we will be upgrading our customers to an improved web services platform, introducing award-winning website and hosting tools along with many additional services enhance your online presence. This upgrade will also significantly improve platform performance and technical support services provided by Easy Web Publishing / EZ Publishing. The platform change will deliver 99.9% uptime guaranteed and offers 24/7/365 technical support, via phone, email and online chat.

Below you will find key information you need to know for the platform change.

FTP – Below are the conventions for FTP access to your site

     Host – Your domain name (domain-name.tld)
     Username – Your domain name (domain-name.tld)
     Password – Your domain password

Your new control panel, WebsiteOS – Web-based access to applications to edit, maintain and promote your site.

Please use the information below to properly configure your email program (i.e. Microsoft Outlook, Netscape Communicator, Eudora etc.).

NOTE: Create the above as a new mail account in your email program (name it distinctly to distinguish it from your existing account information). In this way you will be able to check older mail on the previous mail system (be sure to check mail often throughout the day from now until Saturday August 30th to ensure that it is downloaded to your computer). After the migration completion date (Saturday August 30th, 2008) all new mail will be delivered to the new mail system, and you will use the new configuration listed above to check mail on the new mail system.

Alternatively you can use your web browser application to access WebMail.

IMPORTANT!

The content of your site will be frozen from Wednesday August 20th, 2008 to Friday August 29th, 2008. This means that any changes you make during this freeze period will not be captured on your site. So please refrain from making any web site changes during the freeze period (i.e. do not FTP new web data during the freeze period).

NOTE: The freeze period will not affect your mail or web services, including the operation of your web site's database (if you have one).

As of Saturday August 30th, 2008 you will be able to access WebsiteOS and will able to edit your site via FTP

As of Saturday August 30th, 2008 you will be able to access WebMail, will able to check mail, send mail, configure auto-responders and Spam filters through this web interface. You will also be able to manage mail services through WebsiteOS application “Easymail Setup”. You will also be able to use your mail account via your new setup in your email program.
